Biography: Business executive by day, budding percussionist at least twice weekly. Limited exposurre to instruments and bands, but a lifelong yearning to play the drums and have fun. My prior musical endeavors included playing a recorder at school, a consatina on weekends, primarily to drive my folks insane, and short bursts of saxaphone tuition. As well as playing my Djembe with Krakatoa, I also have weekly lessons on trap drums. I practice trap wildly throughout the week, but I don't quite have the limb multitasking thang down yet, and Mr. High Hat is not my friend. Drumming influences include: Animal from the muppets, Phil Collins of Genesis fame, "Stomp" and many extensions of it, Animusic, and Travis Barker rocks the world. The music styles I love are primarily: Hip Hop/Funk (Hippy Hop as a close friend calls it), including Black Eyed Peas, Prince, and anything that is loud, clever, fast, and above all FUN.
