Customized & personalized, Private 1-on-1 Lessons:

$35 for 1 hour lessons ($30 if you take a total of 4 hours in a month, however you divide it up**)
$18 for half-hour lessons ($17.00 if you take a total of 2 hours in a month, however you divide it up**)

Semi-Private or Group Lessons: 50% off each additional person.***

If you're taking any of the Krakatoa Classes and you want to better learn the Drums and/or Percussion needed for these Classes, you'll get a special discount:

$25 for 1 hour Private 1-on-1 lessons (no limitations**)
$13 for half-hour Private 1-on-1 lessons (no limitations**)
50% off each additional person when taking a Semi-Private or Group Lesson.***

Rhythm Techniques Class 6 - 7 pm: $3

NOTES:

* It's recommended that most students establish a habitual expectancy & accountability by taking weekly lessons (these have a better discount). Also, in order to have adequate time to go over old material, learn the new material, and play along to CDs and with other instrumentalists (I or their friends may play bass, guitar, keyboards, etc.), most students will want to take 1 hour lessons (these also have a better discount). Students who are playing in bands or who have a very long distance to drive can probably go to every other week, but they can still get the weekly discount by taking 2 hour lessons (which many do).

** In order to qualify for the DISCOUNTED lessons (that are intended to reward the regularly attending students as they progress towards their goals for drumming), you need to:

Schedule 4-5 lessons per month - that's essentially WEEKLY.
If you miss one of these lessons, you MUST make up the lesson within the same month. If it's impossible to do so, the missed lesson(s) must be made-up in the following month, and so they can not be counted toward the number of lessons required to get a discount (or credited towards) your lessons in the new month.

*** It's recommended that the students involved in Semi-Private and Groups Lessons have similar goals for their lesson time, play the same instrument (or instruments that are complementary), and have about the same skill level. See also the Krakatoa Classes page.

Payments: If you're scheduling for the entire month to get the Discount**, please do so on the 1st lesson for that month by cash or check (to Mike Burris). If for some reason this is not within the 1st week of the month, I prefer cash since I only go to the bank 1 time per month.
